This year, we're inviting photographers and writers to
JOIN US in Jinja, Uganda.
Join Picture Change founder, Kate Gazaway, and the upcoming class of photography students in a unique collaboration that will transform how you experience storytelling and philanthropy.
Facilitated by travel and lifestyle photographer, Sionnie LaFollette, learn how to apply your creative skills to work in the field alongside NGOs, social enterprises and brands, as well as understand industry trends and challenges, and how to use social media tools to tell stories that inspire change, instill dignity, and remind our communities that hope is winning.
This experience is shaped to provide opportunities to LEARN, SEE & DO as it applies to humanitarian storytelling in the field. Throughout the week we will explore content creation from various perspectives: as photographers, from organization leaders, and from local program participants--often the focus of the stories we tell. Whether you're an avid hobbyist or established professional, if you’ve been looking for an opportunity to challenge yourself to learn, create, and connect, we encourage you to apply. JOIN US.
